Woohoo! This weekend is perfectly the most outstanding one I've ever had:
Friday, 2.13.04 9p Went to the Roxas Blvd. Boardwalk to witness the subfamous "Lova Palooza," pero di ako nakisama sa for-the-record smoochfest no!
Of course, I'm with a chaperone (Si ate Lika, yung yaya ko) and so what I was able to do was to watch the free performances of Parokya, AKAf, Paolo S., sila lang kasi yung naabutan namin at natapos panoorin kasi my stupid chap wanted to go home early para magpalakas kay mum.
All the same, mas exciting naman yung nangyari kesa mag-"restee du maison" no!
Satuday, 2.14.04 8p-1a Went to the Pasig Sports Complex (Ultra yata yung gen term) to watch the taxative Brian McKnight-BoyzIIMen concert (taxative: price kasi ng ticketnet before the concert was presumably cancelled ay Php3450, tax nya Php50. Price naman ng ticketworld after being re-sked ay Php2500, tax Php200. Asus, baka mahilo ako kakacompute kung ano'ng mas malaki tax o watebor! Juz keep readin, won't ya?)
And to think na purpose ko talaga eh manood ng concert, I brought with me my mum (ung chap ko that night coz Lika's on day-off). Good thing I brought with me also a handy TV kasi how could I forget, MAAs nga pala that very night, buti na lang I bothered to remember.
Anyway, the core confusion was: while listening and jotting down every song the two artists were performing, I was simultaneously looking down on my handy TV, watching and jotting down whatever happened during the MAAs (simula nung sa TheFort party, to the MAAsCountdown, hanggang sa last performance for the awards night by the BEP! Hay, kalito nga talaga. The good portion is I've learned to shoot two birds with one stone, hehe.
Summing up, ayos ung concert kasi nagduet si Wanya't Brian sa 6,8,12; nagpiano naman si Mark habang Brian was performing One Last Cry. Sa MAAs naman, sexy ng opening dress ni Michelle Branch! Epal ng konti si Vanness, kudos to LP (they won 2 out of 2 nomins). And to be fair, ang cute nung mga cupid every segment (pati yung mga sipol effects ayos!).
Result is: I only had a 5-hour sleep. We drove back home pa kasi and arrived home at around past 2a.
Sunday, 2.15.04 7a Woke up 7a sharp. I'm in vertigo, I'm tellin ya hitherto. I haven't finished any homework or requirement for next week's run. How lazy can anyone get?
So that was just it. Lesson learned: never go out to jam without finishin more necessary things up, got it?
